Social responsibility
At NLS, we believe we should be stewards of the environment. That’s why we began to retrofit our facilities with strict recycling programs back in 2000. Since then, we’ve saved 12,000 trees per year through the Metro Waste Paper Recovery Program. Additionally, NLS has completed a full facility lighting retrofit to reduce our energy consumption. The result: we’ve decreased our lighting energy by more than 70%. We continue to look for ways to be more environmentally responsible.
